Year 4,5 and 6 Archery

Well done to the Year 5/6 children who came to the ‘Sportshall athletics’ competition this morning. The children enjoyed competing in field and track events such as - obstacle relays, lap relays, javelin, speed bounce, chest push and more. The children were amazing showing enthusiasm in each of their events. They were all supportive of each other. Well done we are really proud of you. We should find out the results next week.
On Thursday the the 21st of November, some of our Year 6 children led and encouraged groups of Year 3 children from Keep Hatch and many other local primary schools as they tackled a variety of obstacle courses.
The mixed year 5/6 team played amazingly well against Holme Grange this afternoon. It was a tough match but the team stuck together and supported each other well. The results were 5-3 to Homne Grange. We scored some amazing goals and had some very close misses. Well done team
Well done to the Year 3 /4 children who came to the ‘Sportshall athletics’ competition on Wednesday 20th November in the morning. The children enjoyed competing in field and track events such as - hurdle relays, obstacle relays, javelin, speed bounce and more. The children were amazing and showed enthusiasm in each of their events. We are very proud of them all, especially for trying some events they have not attempted before. We shall hopefully have the results soon. We will not score overall as due to illnesses we didn’t have full numbers.
On Monday 18th November our girls year 5/6 football team took part in an BSFA tournament afternoon versus Loddon and Oldfield primary schools. The girls did exceptionally well and battled in both games!
Well done to the children for completing their first cross country competition of the season at Cantley Park on Thursday 24th October. The weather was kind to us this year! All the children behaved brilliantly and cheered each other on.
We are pleased to announce that we have set up a new School Council for 2024. Each class from Year 1 to Year 6 has appointed a representative, and Mrs Fletcher is looking forward to meeting with these students to discuss our priorities for the year ahead.
