They rowed a Viking Longship, raided different countries and learned about how the Vikings would have used the items they stole. They also learned different fighting and defense techniques that the Vikings used in battle. Finally, they had the opportunity to try making fire with flint and steel, they built a fence using wattle branches, carded wool and spun thread. All the children got a great introduction to Viking life and thoroughly enjoyed the day.
